HIKVISION DS-K1802

The HIKVISION DS-K1802 Value Series Card Reader is a compact and durable access-control reader designed for offices, residential buildings, shops, warehouses, schools and other controlled-entry locations. It supports Wiegand W26/W34 communication, a built-in audible buzzer, LED status indication and IP65 protection, making it suitable for indoor and protected outdoor installations. The reader operates from 12 VDC, uses a low-power design and is built with a PC+ABS enclosure for dependable day-to-day operation. Depending on the model, the DS-K1802 family supports either 125 kHz EM cards or 13.56 MHz MIFARE/M1 cards, with a typical reading distance of around 5 cm or more under suitable conditions. Hikvision also incorporates a watchdog function to help automatically recover the reader if an abnormal operating condition occurs. The DS-K1802 Series is available in four main versions. DS-K1802E is the standard 125 kHz EM card reader, while DS-K1802EK adds a physical keypad for card-plus-PIN or PIN-based access workflows. DS-K1802M supports 13.56 MHz MIFARE/M1 cards, and DS-K1802MK combines MIFARE/M1 card reading with the built-in numeric keypad. All four models use Wiegand 26/34 output, include a buzzer and status indicators, and are rated IP65. This allows system designers to choose between EM and MIFARE credentials and between card-only or card-plus-keypad operation while retaining the same slim Hikvision Value Series architecture.
