The HIKVISION DS-K2621X Pro Series Access Controller is a modern single-door enterprise access controller designed for offices, commercial buildings, data centres, industrial facilities, residential developments and other high-security installations. Built on a Linux platform with 4 GB ROM and 128 MB RAM, it supports up to 100,000 users, 100,000 cards, 10,000 fingerprint templates and 300,000 events. The controller provides 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, IPv4/IPv6/DHCP, ISAPI, ISUP 5.0 and Hik-Connect, together with 2 RS-485 reader interfaces supporting OSDP, 2 Wiegand reader inputs, 2 alarm inputs, 2 alarm outputs, door contact, exit button, lock output, tamper monitoring and a dedicated fire interface. Security features include AES-256, RSA-2048 and TLS 1.2 encryption, multi-factor authentication, anti-passback, first-person-in and multi-door interlocking. Configuration can be performed directly through a web browser, while support for HikCentral Professional, HikCentral Connect and Hik-Partner Pro makes the controller suitable for centralized and multi-site deployments. The related DS-K2621X(P) provides essentially the same one-door architecture and enterprise functions but uses a 12 VDC power configuration, compared with the standard DS-K2621X’s integrated 100–240 VAC supply architecture. Hikvision provides several related Pro Series controllers for projects of different sizes. The DS-K2601-G is a conventional single-door network controller, while DS-K2602-G / DS-K2602T expand the architecture to two doors, and DS-K2604-G / DS-K2604T provide four-door control for larger installations. The established DS-K2600T family supports up to 100,000 cards and 300,000 events, with TCP/IP, RS-485, Wiegand, OSDP, anti-passback, multi-door interlocking, multiple authentication, first-card opening, super-card/password functions, M1-card encryption and offline operation. Reader capacity scales with the controller: DS-K2601T supports 2 RS-485 + 2 Wiegand readers, DS-K2602T supports 4 + 4, and DS-K2604T supports 8 RS-485 + 4 Wiegand readers. The newer DS-K2622X is a two-door counterpart to the DS-K2621X architecture, supporting 100,000 users, 100,000 cards, 10,000 fingerprints and 300,000 events, with 4 RS-485/OSDP reader connections and 4 Wiegand reader connections, four alarm inputs/outputs and the same web-based, encrypted Pro Series management approach. For elevator integration, the DS-K2210 Main Elevator Controller communicates over TCP/IP and provides RS-485/Wiegand reader connectivity, emergency/fire/maintenance inputs and relay outputs; it works with the DS-K2M0016A Distributed Elevator Controller, which provides 16 relay outputs per module for elevator floor buttons. Up to 8 DS-K2M0016A modules can connect to one DS-K2210, enabling control of as many as 128 floors, with button, call-elevator and auto-button relay modes.
