WAE-E16-PCB

The WatchNET WAE-E16-PCB is a dedicated 16-floor elevator access expansion module designed to extend the capacity of the WatchNET WAE-016 elevator access controller. Each WAE-E16-PCB adds control for an additional 16 elevator floors, making it suitable for high-rise buildings, commercial towers, hotels, residential developments, corporate headquarters and other multi-storey environments requiring controlled lift access. The module is designed as a plug-in expansion board and connects to the main WAE-016-PCB controller through a daisy-chain ribbon cable, allowing the elevator access system to grow without replacing the primary controller. When only one expansion board is needed, it can be mounted directly above the base controller to provide a compact 32-floor configuration. A key advantage of the WAE-E16-PCB is its scalability. Up to seven WAE-E16-PCB modules can be connected to a single WAE-016-PCB controller, increasing the total system capacity from the base 16 floors to as many as 128 controlled floors. The associated WAE-016 platform uses a 32-bit ARM processor, supports approximately 30,000 cardholders and 200,000 transactions, and provides TCP/IP communication with optional RS-485 connectivity. The elevator access platform also supports features such as visitor floor permissions, real-time event monitoring, historical event records, fire-alarm override and servicing mode, enabling building operators to manage which users can access specific floors while maintaining appropriate emergency and maintenance functionality.
