WatchNET WAC-2D2TOS-PCB

The WatchNET WAC-2D2TOS-PCB is an advanced 2-door, 2-reader network access controller designed for commercial, enterprise and high-security access-control applications. Powered by a 32-bit ST ARM® Cortex-M4 processor, the controller supports both Wiegand and OSDP readers simultaneously, giving system integrators flexibility when combining legacy readers with newer secure OSDP devices. It provides 10/100 Mbps TCP/IP communication and supports PoE+ up to 30W, helping simplify installation by allowing network connectivity and power to be delivered through the same infrastructure. The controller supports two lock relays, two supervised door sensors, two supervised exit-button inputs, four supervised auxiliary inputs and two auxiliary outputs. It can manage approximately 100,000 cardholders, expandable up to 250,000, while storing up to 1,000,000 transactions, expandable to 2,000,000 logs. The WAC-2D2TOS-PCB includes a range of advanced security and access-management functions suitable for demanding installations. It supports 24–72 bit Wiegand formats, OSDP reader buses, anti-passback, lockdown functions, master-and-slave cards, multi-group card authentication, user PIN identification and multiple door-status operating modes. The controller also incorporates a backup battery charger and battery monitoring, while its internal memory can retain system information for extended periods during a power failure. WatchNET specifies long-term data retention of up to approximately 20 years, along with an operating temperature range of around -40°C to +70°C, making the controller suitable for a wide variety of protected equipment-room and access-control cabinet environments. It can operate in standalone or networked configurations and is also compatible with WatchNET’s existing controller series, PoE-series controllers, elevator controllers and I/O expansion infrastructure.
