The WatchNET WAR-HAM-SRW / WAR-HAM-LRW Long Range Identification Receivers are designed for access-control applications where users need to activate doors, gates, parking barriers or other controlled points from a distance rather than presenting a card directly to a conventional reader. Both models operate at 433 MHz and communicate with compatible access-control systems using Wiegand output, including standard 26-bit and custom formats. They use rolling-code transmission with encryption to improve wireless credential security and are designed for indoor or outdoor installation with an IP65-rated enclosure. The WAR-HAM-SRW provides a read range of up to approximately 100 ft / 30.5 m, while the WAR-HAM-LRW extends the range to approximately 200 ft / 61 m, with installer-adjustable range on the LRW model. These receivers are particularly useful for vehicle entrances, gated communities, parking facilities, loading areas, warehouse gates, industrial sites, alarm arming/disarming and emergency-duress applications. WatchNET-compatible long-range transmitters are available in two-button and four-button configurations and can incorporate a proximity or contactless smart-card module, allowing the same credential to be used for both long-range activation and conventional building access. The units operate from 12 VDC, withstand temperatures from approximately -40°C to +65°C, and can be connected using shielded multi-conductor cabling. The WAR-HAM-LRW typically draws around 120 mA at 12 VDC, while the WAR-HAM-SRW uses around 80 mA, making both suitable for professional access-control installations requiring dependable long-range operation.
