Overview
The WatchNET EN-128AI is a high-capacity 128-channel 2U AI Network Video Recorder designed for enterprise CCTV systems requiring large camera counts, high recording bandwidth, intelligent analytics and centralized storage. It supports up to 128 IP camera channels with a maximum 1024 Mbps incoming, 1024 Mbps recording and 800 Mbps outgoing bandwidth, making it suitable for hospitals, hotels, shopping centres, commercial towers, warehouses, industrial facilities, campuses and large multi-building surveillance systems. The recorder provides 8 SATA bays, support for large-capacity hard drives, RAID 0/1/5/6/10, hot-swappable HDD architecture and N+M cluster support for resilient recording applications. Its built-in AI engine provides 4-channel face detection and recognition, 8-channel video metadata, 24-channel fenced-area protection and 32-channel intelligent motion detection, while compatible AI cameras can provide face recognition, people counting, LPR, crowd distribution, vehicle density, object monitoring and human/vehicle/non-motor-vehicle metadata. The EN-128AI can maintain up to 40 face databases with 300,000 face images, supports 20,000 license plates in block/allow lists, and provides multiple HDMI/VGA display outputs, audio I/O, 16 alarm inputs, 8 alarm outputs, RS-232, RS-485, eSATA and high-speed network connectivity. VEGA Digital IT Solutions LLC, as a SIRA-approved CCTV/security solutions provider in Dubai and an organized WatchNET supplier and system integrator, can deploy the EN-128AI as the recording core of large WatchNET CCTV systems. Because SIRA approval applies to the exact recorder model and firmware, the EN-128AI should only be described as individually SIRA Approved after its current entry is confirmed in SIRA's latest approved-recorder record. The related WatchNET recorders allow VEGA Digital to scale the solution according to project size. The EN-64AIR2 is a 64-channel 2U AI NVR with the same high-performance 1024/1024/800 Mbps bandwidth architecture, 8 SATA bays, RAID 0/1/5/6/10, hot-swappable storage, N+M clustering, 16 alarm inputs and 8 alarm outputs. Its AI engine supports face detection/recognition, metadata, perimeter protection and intelligent motion detection, while compatible cameras can contribute LPR, people counting, crowd analytics and other AI events. Importantly, the WatchNET EN-64AIR2 was listed in SIRA's Recorder & VMS Approval Record dated 31 March 2026 under approval SIRA/2023/1/05558; because SIRA now publishes a newer approved-recorder list dated 31 August 2026, VEGA Digital should still verify that exact model/firmware against the latest record before final submission. The ENI-04POE is a compact 4-channel / 4-PoE NVR with embedded Linux, up to 80 Mbps incoming and recording bandwidth, support for IP cameras up to 8 MP, 4K HDMI output, one SATA bay, smart camera analytics and built-in PoE for small CCTV installations. The ENI-08POE expands this to 8 channels and 8 PoE ports, supports cameras up to 12 MP, provides 160/160/80 Mbps incoming/recording/outgoing bandwidth, 4-channel recorder-side SMD, one SATA bay supporting up to 20 TB and 4K HDMI output. The ENI-16POE provides 16 channels, 16 PoE ports and two SATA bays supporting up to 20 TB each, while retaining 160/160/80 Mbps bandwidth, up to 12 MP camera support, AI-assisted SMD, face/perimeter analytics from compatible cameras, 4K HDMI, alarm I/O and ONVIF interoperability. For system installation and SIRA-oriented deployment, VEGA Digital first calculates the required number of cameras, resolution, frame rate, bitrate, recording retention period, RAID requirement, storage capacity, network bandwidth, UPS autonomy and control-room display requirements. Large installations can use the EN-128AI or EN-64AIR2 in a rack-mounted control-room architecture with enterprise hard drives, RAID protection, managed core switches, dedicated CCTV VLANs, redundant network links, UPS-backed power and WatchNET VMS integration; smaller branches or distributed sites can use the ENI-04POE, ENI-08POE or ENI-16POE, where built-in PoE simplifies direct camera connectivity and deployment. Engineers configure camera recording profiles, H.265+/H.265, continuous/event recording, motion and AI rules, user permissions, RAID or disk groups, NTP time synchronization, alarm linkage, face/LPR databases where permitted, remote monitoring, playback, export, network security and storage health monitoring. Final commissioning includes camera-to-recorder connectivity checks, simultaneous recording/playback testing, storage-retention validation, disk-failure/RAID tests where applicable, network and UPS failure testing, alarm verification and preparation of rack layouts, IP schedules, storage calculations and as-built documentation. SIRA's current device-certification process specifically covers recorders as a separate equipment category, and SIRA publishes a dedicated approved Recorder & VMS list; therefore VEGA Digital should match the exact recorder model and firmware to the current approval record rather than assuming that every WatchNET recorder is automatically SIRA approved.
