The WatchNET PNT-32EXAIR2 is a professional 32-channel, 2U Penta-Brid AI Digital Video Recorder designed for large CCTV installations that need to combine existing analogue infrastructure with modern high-resolution IP surveillance. Running on an embedded Linux platform, it supports HDCVI, XVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP camera inputs, with support for up to 32 channels and camera resolutions up to 12 MP, together with a maximum 128 Mbps incoming bandwidth. H.265+/H.265 and H.264+/H.264 compression help reduce bandwidth and recording-storage requirements. The recorder provides advanced built-in AI functionality on supported analogue inputs, including up to 6-channel fenced-area/perimeter protection, human and vehicle classification for line-crossing and intrusion events, AI target search, up to 6-channel face recognition, stranger detection and up to 32-channel AI motion detection. Face management supports up to 10 databases containing 20,000 face images, while alarm actions can include recording, snapshot, buzzer, email, alarm output and PTZ activation. For enterprise storage, the PNT-32EXAIR2 provides 8 SATA bays supporting up to 10 TB per drive, along with eSATA expansion, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 HDMI outputs, VGA, 16 alarm inputs, 6 relay outputs, multiple USB interfaces, IoT/POS integration and ONVIF interoperability. For Dubai projects, however, the exact PNT-32EXAIR2 recorder model and firmware should only be described as “SIRA Approved” after confirmation against the current SIRA Recorder/VMS certified-equipment record. The related WatchNET PNT-1680AILR3 is a compact 16-channel Penta-Brid 8 MP Mini 1U AI DVR supporting HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP camera inputs, H.265+/H.265 compression and full-channel AI Coding. It supports up to 16 analogue channels plus 16 additional IP channels, with each IP channel supporting resolutions up to 8 MP and a maximum incoming bandwidth of 128 Mbps. The PNT-0880AILC provides the same modern Penta-Brid AI concept for smaller sites in an 8-channel Mini 1U recorder, supporting HDCVI/AHD/TVI/CVBS/IP, H.265+, full-channel AI Coding and up to 8 analogue plus 8 additional IP channels, with IP cameras up to 8 MP and 128 Mbps incoming bandwidth. It provides up to 8-channel perimeter protection, 8-channel SMD Plus, 2-channel face recognition and a face database capacity of up to 20,000 images, together with RS-485 PTZ control and audio input/output. This gives VEGA Digital a scalable WatchNET recorder family: PNT-0880AILC for smaller 8-channel locations, PNT-1680AILR3 for medium 16-channel systems and PNT-32EXAIR2 for larger 32-channel projects requiring extensive storage and AI functionality. SIRA approval remains exact-model specific: the SIRA Recorder/VMS list dated 31 March 2026 includes the earlier WatchNET PNT-1680AILR2 under SIRA/2022/1/04632, but that does not automatically certify the newer PNT-1680AILR3, PNT-0880AILC or PNT-32EXAIR2.
