WatchNET WAR-EHO-MPX

The WatchNET WAR-EHO-MPX is a compact multi-technology proximity RFID reader designed for professional access control applications that need broad credential compatibility and simple integration. It operates at 125 kHz using ASK modulation and supports several proximity-card technologies, including certain HID®, AWID® and EM 125 kHz formats, along with WatchNET private card formats. The reader is compatible with standard Wiegand communication, including 26-bit and other configurable formats, allowing it to connect with a wide range of access-control panels. Its slim housing measures approximately 98 × 42 × 18 mm, making it suitable for mullion, wall and single- or double-gang-box installations. A blue LED, dual-colour status indication and integral buzzer provide clear visual and audible feedback during access transactions. The WAR-EHO-MPX is designed for reliable everyday operation in commercial and security-sensitive environments. It operates from approximately 7–12 VDC, with low power consumption, and is specified for temperatures from around -30°C to +65°C with operating humidity up to 95%. The reader provides dedicated control inputs for the LED and buzzer, allowing the connected access-control panel to provide customized user feedback. WatchNET also offers custom-encrypted proximity cards for projects requiring a more controlled credential environment. Because the reader supports multi-format proximity credentials and standard Wiegand interfaces, it is well suited for new installations as well as upgrades where existing cards or access-control controllers need to be retained.
